This SONY DVD Player is One Great Player with much to offer. This SONY DVD Player is AWESOME! Best DVD player with built-in dolby decoder for 200$ I recently purchased this dvd player after doing quite a bit of research. An excellent choice. I've had this dvd player for about 2 months now. Has problems like Other Sony DVD Players. This is a fine DVD player--when it's working. So Far So Good. I just got the player today so I can't attest to its durability, but we watched a Blockbuster DVD tonight and it played perfectly. Great first DVD player. Not having owned a DVD player before, I had to do a little research, but found that for the money, it's a really great player. Great match for an older receiver. My wife and I were recently given a "hand-me-down" Nakamichi receiver. Another thing about this DVD player. I just got this and it's great. SWEET. This is my first DVD player, but could never justify buying one to play on my 25" TV. What more could one ask for? I bought this Sony for its reputation and I can honestly say: The reputation is well deserved!
Great, but you pay for useless "features" I have used DVD players since the first month they came out, and unlike the VHS market where you have to decide whether you want 2, 4, or 6 heads, Hifi stereo, and flying erase heads, a DVD is a DVD. Excellent Product. I received this DVD player as a Christmas gift, and after 2 months of use, I am still completely satisfied with this product. Valuable player for reasonable price. After looking for the right DVD player for quite a while, I finally decided for SONY's DVP-NS400D. What a peice of junk. I just bought this thing and went to use it for the first time and i'm getting a 13:00 code which is dirty dvd. Maximum Bang for Your $$$ This DVD player is a very good choice for anyone who has a digital ready or reciever with a decoder built in. The Best Bang for your Buck. I own three other DVD players and am familiar with a friend's, and none of them have performed for me quite so well as this one.
